Questions & Answers

Is this a complete stator assembly?

No, this is the pick-up coil (pulsar coil) component only. It is designed to replace the small sensor unit on your original stator plate that sends the ignition timing signal.

How do I install this part?

Installation requires soldering the new coil wires to your original wiring harness. We recommend using heat-shrink tubing to insulate the connections and checking the air gap between the coil and the flywheel node (minimum 0.010") before starting.

What happens if I have no spark after installation?

If you experience no spark or erratic spark, try switching the two wires at the connection point. This can correct polarity issues that sometimes occur during aftermarket installations.

Note: At 4Drive, we recommend professional installation for all electrical components. Please verify your original stator's configuration against our measurements (30mm bracket spacing) before ordering.
