Pickup Pulsar Coil for Arctic Cat Snowmobiles
Bearcat 570, Firecat 500 / 600 / 700, King Cat 900, ZR 600 / 800 / 900, 2001-2020 - Part RM00131
This is a brand new pickup pulsar coil for Arctic Cat snowmobiles, supplied as a repair component for the stator assembly. The pickup coil is the small trigger sensor that tells the ignition system exactly when the flywheel is in position, so when it fails the engine will either refuse to start or run erratically. It is a common failure point, and it is very often no longer available separately from the original equipment manufacturer - which normally forces owners into replacing the entire stator.
Supplying it on its own makes stator repair practical again. The coil comes with a 285 mm wire loom terminating in a single two-pin plug, and the mounting bracket holes are 35 mm centre to centre so it locates in the original position on the stator plate. Wire-to-wire resistance between the green/white and brown/white wires is 200 ohms plus or minus 20 percent, giving you a clear figure to test your original against. All units shipped are tested before they leave the warehouse.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit without modification?
The bracket holes are 35 mm centre to centre and the loom ends in the original style two-pin plug, so it mounts and connects in the original position. Match one of the OEM numbers above against your original unit before ordering.
What is included?
One brand new pickup pulsar coil with its 285 mm two-wire loom and two-pin plug already fitted, tested before dispatch. The stator itself is not included - this part is intended to repair an existing stator assembly.
How do I know the original pickup coil has failed?
The usual signs are no spark at all, an engine that turns over but will not fire, an intermittent cut-out, or a machine that starts and then dies. Measure the resistance between the green/white and brown/white wires: this replacement reads 200 ohms plus or minus 20 percent, so an open circuit or a wildly different reading on your original confirms the fault.
Why buy the pickup coil rather than a whole stator?
Because the pickup is frequently the only part that has failed. It is often not sold separately by the original manufacturer, so being able to buy just the coil lets you repair the stator you already have instead of replacing the complete assembly.
