A brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging unit fitted to a wide range of Polaris snowmobiles. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part and comes as a complete assembly with the connector, the rubber grommet and the back plate already fitted, so it drops straight into the recess the old unit came out of. The part number is RM01278.
The unit carries nine wires terminating in two plugs with eight pins between them, and is wound on the highest grade lamination materials using the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

How do I know my original stator has failed?
A multimeter check is the quickest confirmation. This unit reads 0.4 ohms +/- 20% yellow to yellow across the alternator windings and 195 ohms +/- 20% brown/white to red/black across the source coil. A reading that is open circuit, shorted to earth, or well outside those figures points to a failed stator.
