Mercury Quicksilver Premium Gear Lube is designed to provide excellent lubrication for lower gears in outboard engines over 75hp under various operating conditions. It should not be mixed with Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube or other gear lubricants.
It is strongly recommended to check and replace the gear oil after every 50 hours of saltwater use and before storage at the end of each season to prevent gearbox damage caused by water ingress through a failed propeller seal.
