Voltage Regulator Rectifier for Kawasaki KFX and KX, Suzuki Quadsport and Arctic Cat DVX
Kawasaki KFX 400 and 450 R, KX 250 F and 450 F, Suzuki Quadsport 400 and VanVan, Arctic Cat DVX 400, 1999-2019 - Part Number RM30425
A brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier covering a family of closely related Kawasaki, Suzuki and Arctic Cat machines built between 1999 and 2019. It is a direct replacement to your original unit: one plug with six pins, a compact 76 by 47 by 27 mm finned body and 58 mm centre to centre fixation holes, so it bolts into the existing bracket and plugs into the existing loom.
The regulator rectifier converts the alternating current produced by the stator into direct current and caps the charging voltage so the battery and the electronics behind it are not cooked. This unit uses a higher grade of electric components than the original, and the quality exceeds the OEM equipment. Installation is plug-and-play, a direct fit, with no assembly required, and all products shipped are tested before they leave the warehouse.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement to your original unit - plug-and-play, direct fit, easy installation, with no assembly required. The single six-pin plug and the 58 mm centre to centre mounting holes match the original.
What is in the box?
One brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier, tested before dispatch. No separate hardware is required beyond the original mounting bolts.
How do I know the old one has failed?
Check the voltage at the battery with the engine running: it should settle around 14.5 V. A battery that stays flat, or one that gases because voltage is climbing past 15 V, both point at the regulator. Melted or discoloured connector pins on the regulator plug are another common sign on these machines.
Why do Kawasaki, Suzuki and Arctic Cat machines share this part?
The KFX 400, the Suzuki Quadsport 400 and the Arctic Cat DVX 400 are closely related machines, and Kawasaki, Suzuki and Arctic Cat each list their own number for the same regulator. All of those numbers are shown in the cross reference table above - match the number on your original unit to confirm.
