Brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier for Kawasaki. It is a direct replacement for your original unit - plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install, with no assembly required. The unit uses a higher grade of electrical components and carries an improved heat sink and charging capability, so the quality exceeds the OEM equipment it replaces.
We have even included the opposite connector, the main harness side, as we know these are often melted, corroded or otherwise defective and are a major cause of repetitive electrical issues. Replacing both halves of the connection at the same time removes the most common source of a repeat failure. All products shipped are tested.

Does this need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and is plug-and-play, with a single six-pin plug and 170 mm wires. No assembly is required, and the fixation holes are 60 mm centre to centre.
What is included in the box?
You receive the voltage regulator rectifier and the opposite connector, the main harness side. That second connector is supplied because the original harness plug is very often melted, corroded or defective and is a major cause of repeat electrical problems.
How do I know my old regulator has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that will not hold its charge, headlights that dim or flare with engine speed, or a charging voltage at the battery that never reaches around 14.5 V. Check the connector as well as the regulator itself - a burnt or corroded plug will cause the same symptoms.
Why does the improved heat sink matter?
Regulators fail most often through heat. This unit has an improved heat sink and upgraded charging capability, and is rated to operate from -20 C to 85 C with a maximum charging current of 50 A / 500 W, which helps it survive the conditions that kill the standard part.
