This is a brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier covering a wide spread of KTM two-stroke and four-stroke enduro machines and the small-capacity Yamaha quads. The regulator sits between the stator and the battery: it turns the alternating current the stator generates into direct current, and it caps the charging voltage so the battery and the electrics behind it are not damaged by whatever the engine is doing at the time.
It is a direct replacement for the original unit - plug and play, direct fit, easy installation, no assembly required. The unit measures 88 mm wide by 79 mm long by 27 mm high with 110 mm wires, and carries a single 4-pin plug with 4 wires.
