A brand new aftermarket DC voltage regulator rectifier for the Kymco Mxer 125 and Mxer 150 quad, built as a direct replacement for the original unit. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit: the single five-pin plug, the 53 mm fixing hole centres and the 85 mm wire tails all match the original, so the regulator mounts in the standard position and connects to the standard loom with no assembly and no wiring changes.

How can I tell my old regulator has failed?
Measure the voltage across the battery with the engine running. A working charging system should reach at least 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V. If the reading never rises above resting battery voltage the regulator is not charging; if it climbs beyond 15 V the regulator is no longer limiting the output and will boil the battery. Discoloured casing or a melted connector are further signs.
Why does the harness connector matter so much?
The regulator carries the full charging current through that plug. Once the pins corrode or the housing distorts with heat, resistance rises, the joint gets hotter still and the fault repeats no matter how many regulators are fitted. Replacing the connector supplied in the box breaks that cycle.
