Brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Yamaha VMX V-Max and the XV Virago and Virago Special range in 535, 700, 750, 1000, 1100 and 1200 cc from 1984 to 1999. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part - no assembly is required and no modification to the standard wiring loom is needed. The regulator rectifier converts the alternating current produced by the stator into direct current, and then holds the charging voltage at a level that is safe for the battery and the rest of the electrical system.
