RMSTATOR RM30Y01 Voltage Regulator Rectifier
Suzuki DR 650 SE and Yamaha FZ6, R 600, FZR / YZF 600, YZF R1 / R3 / R6 / R6S - 1995-2026
The RMSTATOR RM30Y01 is a brand new voltage regulator rectifier built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Suzuki DR 650 SE and to a wide range of Yamaha sports and naked models from 1995 to 2026. It converts the alternating current produced by the stator into regulated direct current, holding system voltage steady so the battery charges correctly and the ignition, lighting and fuel systems receive clean, stable power.
This is a plug-and-play, direct fit unit - no assembly, no modification and no wiring changes are required. RMSTATOR build the RM30Y01 with a higher grade of electrical components and an improved heat sink, giving better heat dissipation and better charging capability than the original. The quality exceeds OEM equipment and every unit is tested before it is shipped. The opposite connector for the main harness side is supplied with the regulator, which matters because the original plug is very often melted or corroded by the time the unit has failed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modification?
Yes. The RM30Y01 is a direct fit, plug-and-play replacement for the original unit. It uses the same single plug with 5 pins and the same 70 mm fixation hole spacing, so it mounts in the original location and connects to the existing harness with no assembly, cutting or rewiring required.
What is included?
You receive the RM30Y01 voltage regulator rectifier together with the opposite connector for the main harness side. RMSTATOR supply this connector because the original plug is very often melted or corroded by the time the regulator has failed, and fitting a new regulator to a damaged plug is a common cause of repeat failures.
How do I know my old regulator rectifier has failed?
Common symptoms are a battery that will not hold its charge, charging voltage at the battery terminals that stays low or climbs above roughly 15 V, a battery that boils or swells, dim or flickering lights, and a regulator body or connector that is discoloured, melted or running extremely hot. With a healthy charging system you should measure around 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V at the battery with the engine running.
What output is this regulator rated for?
The RM30Y01 handles a maximum charging current of 25 A / 300 W, keeps open circuit voltage below 15 V and is rated for operation from -20 C to 85 C, so it copes with both cold starts and sustained high under-seat temperatures.
