Voltage Regulator for Can-Am Ryker & Honda CB 1000 R
Can-Am Ryker 600 and 900 ACE 2019-2022, Honda CB 1000 R and CMX 300 2018-2022
This is a brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier covering the Can-Am Ryker 600 and 900 ACE from 2019 to 2022 and the Honda CB 1000 R and CMX 300 from 2018 to 2022. It is a direct replacement for the original unit: the body measures 94 mm long by 77 mm wide by 28 mm deep, the two mounting holes sit 80 mm apart centre to centre, and the part carries two plugs with five pins in total, matching the factory arrangement. Fitting is plug-and-play with no assembly required.
A regulator rectifier converts the alternating current from the stator into direct current and then holds the output at a level the battery and the electronics can live with. It is a component that spends its life managing heat, and it is a frequent failure point. RMSTATOR supply the opposite connector - the main harness side half of the plug - in the box, because these connectors are often found melted, corroded or defective, and they identify a bad connector as a major cause of repeat electrical faults. The unit is built with a higher grade of electrical components than the original equipment and every one is tested before it ships.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct fit, plug-and-play replacement. The two plugs, the five pins and the 80 mm mounting hole spacing all match the original unit, so no cutting, splicing or assembly is required before fitting.
What is included?
The voltage regulator and the opposite connector, which is the main harness side half of the plug. RMSTATOR include it because these connectors are frequently melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repetitive electrical issues.
How do I know the old regulator has failed?
Measure the voltage across the battery terminals with the engine running and compare it with the regulated 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V in the specification table. A reading that stays at resting battery voltage indicates the unit is no longer charging; a reading above 15 V indicates it is no longer regulating and is overcharging the battery. A battery that repeatedly goes flat, blown bulbs and heat damage at the connector are the usual symptoms.
Why does one part cover both a Can-Am and a Honda?
The Can-Am Ryker uses a Rotax ACE engine whose charging circuit shares the same regulator specification as the Honda applications listed, which is why Can-Am 710006002 and Honda 31600-MKJ-D01 cross reference to the same RMSTATOR part. Confirm the number on your original unit against those two before ordering.
