Voltage Regulator Rectifier RM30427 for Honda
CB 300, CBR 250, CBR 300 and CRF 250 - 2011-2022
Brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier for the Honda CB 300, CBR 250, CBR 300 and CRF 250, supplied as a direct replacement to your original unit. It is plug-and-play, direct fit and easy to install, with no assembly required, so the machine's existing 5-pin plug connects straight to the new regulator without cutting or splicing the loom.
The unit is built with a higher grade of electric components, an improved heat sink and improved charging capabilities, and the quality exceeds the OEM equipment. All products shipped are tested. RMSTATOR have even included the opposite connector, the one on the main harness side, as these are often melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repetitive electrical issues. The regulator holds a minimum charging voltage of 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V and handles a maximum charging current of 35 A / 400 W. It replaces Honda OEM part number 31600-KVK-901.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement to your original unit, plug-and-play and direct fit with no assembly required. It uses a single 5-pin plug and the mounting holes are 66 mm apart centre to centre. Check your original unit carries Honda number 31600-KVK-901 before ordering.
What is included?
The voltage regulator rectifier and the opposite connector for the main harness side, so a melted or corroded harness plug can be replaced at the same time. Every unit is tested before shipment.
How do I know my old regulator has failed?
Check the voltage at the battery with the engine running. A working system regulates to 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V; a charge that will not rise, or one that climbs past the 15 V open circuit limit and boils the battery, indicates a failed regulator rectifier. Melted or corroded connectors at the regulator are a common cause and should be renewed with the unit.
Is there any special precaution when fitting it?
There is a risk of electric shock, so disconnect the battery before servicing, and have the installation carried out by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction. Mount the unit where it gets clean airflow so the improved heat sink can do its job.
