Voltage Regulator for Arctic Cat, Honda, KTM and Suzuki
Arctic Cat EXT 580, Honda RVT 1000, KTM 690 Enduro and Suzuki GV 1200, 1983-2024 - part number RM30T10
This is a brand new voltage regulator rectifier covering a broad spread of machines - the Arctic Cat EXT 580, the Honda RVT 1000, the KTM 690 Enduro and the Suzuki GV 1200. It arrives with 500 mm of bare lead on seven wires and no plug fitted, which is deliberate: you must re-install your original connector onto the new unit. Once that connector is in place the part becomes plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install, with no assembly required.
The heat sink and the charging capability are both improved over the original, and a higher grade of electrical component is used throughout, so the quality exceeds the OEM equipment. Every unit is tested before it is shipped. The generous 500 mm lead length also gives you the option of siting the regulator where it gets more airflow than the factory position allowed, which is worth considering if the original unit cooked itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit without modification?
Almost. The one job you must do is re-install your original connector onto the new unit, because this regulator is supplied with bare leads and no plug. Once that connector is fitted it is plug-and-play, a direct fit, and easy to install, with no other assembly required. The fixation holes are 76 mm centre to centre.
What is included?
The voltage regulator rectifier with 500 mm of wire on seven leads. No connector is supplied with this part - your original one is re-used.
How do I know my old regulator has failed?
Measure the voltage across the battery with the engine running. A healthy system holds around 14.5 V. A reading stuck at resting battery voltage points to a unit that has stopped charging, while a reading above 15 V points to one that has stopped regulating and is overcharging the battery. A regulator body that is scorched, swollen or too hot to touch has usually already gone.
This part covers four different makes - how do I confirm it is right for mine?
Use the OEM number rather than the model name. Read the number on the unit you are removing and check it against the cross reference table above. That is the most reliable confirmation on a part with coverage this wide.
