What is included?
The regulator rectifier and the opposite connector for the main harness side, so that a melted or corroded harness plug can be renewed at the same time.
How do I know my old regulator has failed?
With the engine running, measure the voltage across the battery terminals. Around 14.5 V is healthy. If the reading sits at resting battery voltage the unit has stopped charging, and if it climbs past 15 V the unit has stopped regulating and is overcharging. Corroded or discoloured connector pins are another reliable sign.
