Regulator Rectifier for Honda Fourtrax Foreman TRX 350 & TRX 350 D 1986-1992
Honda Fourtrax Foreman TRX 350 and TRX 350 D - 1986 to 1992 - Part RMS020-102794
This is a brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier, built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Honda Fourtrax Foreman TRX 350 and TRX 350 D between 1986 and 1992. The regulator rectifier converts the alternating current produced by the stator into the direct current the battery and electrical system need, and then holds that output at a safe, steady voltage. When it fails, the usual symptoms are a flat or boiling battery, dim or flickering lights, and a charging voltage that either never rises above resting battery level or climbs far higher than it should.
The unit is a plug-and-play, direct fit item - no assembly and no modification are required, and it mounts on the original fixing points at 68 mm centre to centre. It is built with a higher grade of electrical components than the original equipment specification, and every unit is tested before it is shipped. The product photographs are accurate, so if you are in any doubt you can compare them directly against your original part before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my Fourtrax Foreman without modification?
Yes. It is a direct fit, plug-and-play replacement for the original regulator rectifier on the TRX 350 and TRX 350 D from 1986 to 1992. It uses the original mounting points at 68 mm centre to centre and the same two plugs with six pins, so no cutting, splicing or assembly is needed. Please still check the OEM number on your existing unit against the cross reference table above before ordering.
What is included?
You receive one brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier, tested before dispatch. No additional loom, bolts or mounting hardware are supplied - the original fasteners and connectors are reused.
How do I know my old regulator rectifier has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that will not hold charge, headlights that dim at idle or flare brightly as the revs rise, and bulbs that keep blowing. Measure the voltage across the battery terminals with the engine running: it should settle at around 14.5 V. A reading that stays at resting battery level shows the unit is no longer charging, while a reading well above 15 V shows it is no longer regulating.
What output is this unit rated for?
It is rated for a maximum charging current of 50 A / 500 W, with a minimum charging voltage of 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V and an open circuit voltage below 15 V. The operating temperature range is -20 C to 85 C.
