Voltage Regulator Rectifier for Honda Grom 125 and Wave 110
Honda Grom 125 2014-2015 and Wave 110 2012-2015 - OEM replacement 31600-K26-921 / 31600-KWW-C51 - Part RMS020-107241
This is a brand new aftermarket voltage regulator rectifier for the Honda Grom 125 and Honda Wave 110, built as a direct replacement for the original unit. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part. The regulator rectifier converts the alternating current from the stator into direct current and then holds the charging voltage steady, so the battery is neither starved nor overcharged as engine speed changes.
This unit uses a higher grade of electric components than the original and has an improved heat sink with better charging capability. Heat is what kills a regulator rectifier, so a heat sink that sheds it more effectively directly affects how long the part lasts. The opposite connector for the main harness side is included in the box, because these connectors are often melted, corroded or defective and are a leading cause of repeat charging faults.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modifying the wiring?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit replacement for the original unit. There is a single six-pin plug and the fixation holes are 67 mm apart centre to centre, matching the original mounting, so the standard loom does not need to be cut or spliced.
What is included?
The voltage regulator rectifier and the opposite connector for the main harness side, so the plug on the bike can be renewed at the same time as the regulator.
How do I know the old regulator has failed?
The typical signs are a battery that goes flat or will not hold charge, lights that dim or flicker, and a charging voltage at the battery terminals outside the normal range. This unit regulates to a minimum of 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V and holds the open circuit voltage below 15 V, so a reading well away from that on the old part points at a failed regulator.
Does the improved heat sink make a practical difference?
Yes. Heat is the main reason a regulator rectifier fails, so the larger heat sink on this unit, together with a higher grade of electric components, helps it shed the heat generated when it is dumping surplus current. That is also why it is worth mounting the unit where it gets airflow, exactly as the original was positioned.
