Mosfet Voltage Regulator Rectifier RM30424 for Kawasaki
Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-10R - 2008-2025
An advanced MOSFET voltage regulator rectifier for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-10R, built to replace the OEM diode style unit. A MOSFET regulator runs cooler than all OEM diode style regulators, and this one adds overheat protection: rather than burn up it will simply turn off for a while and cool off. Installation is plug-and-play and direct fit, using the machine's existing connectors.
The unit is built with a higher grade of electric components, an improved heat sink and improved charging capabilities, and the quality exceeds the OEM equipment. All products shipped are tested. RMSTATOR also include the opposite connector, the one on the main harness side, because these are so often melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repeat electrical faults. Output is regulated to a minimum charging voltage of 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V with a maximum charging current of 50 A / 500 W.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and is plug-and-play. It carries two plugs with 6 pins in total and the mounting holes are 80 mm apart centre to centre. Confirm the number on your original unit against the cross reference table above before ordering.
What is included?
The Mosfet voltage regulator rectifier unit and the opposite connector for the main harness side, so a melted or corroded harness plug can be renewed at the same time as the regulator.
How do I know my old regulator has failed?
With the engine running, a healthy system reads 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V at the battery. A charge that stays low or climbs past 15 V points to the regulator rectifier. Before fitting the new unit, check the AC output of the stator, replace any burned or corroded connectors on the stator and regulator, repair melted wiring and use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.
What makes a MOSFET unit better than the OEM regulator?
A MOSFET regulator runs cooler than all OEM diode style regulators and this one has overheat protection, so rather than burn up it simply turns off for a while and cools off. Combined with the improved heat sink, that is the main reason these units survive where the original does not.
