Brand new improved AC voltage regulator rectifier, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Kawasaki 750 SX, SXI, SXI Pro and SXI 75 HP stand-up skis and the 800 SX-R from 1992 to 2011. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part - no assembly is required and no modification to the standard wiring loom is needed. The connector is included. The unit is built with a higher grade of electrical components than the original and uses an improved heat sink for better thermal performance and charging capability. The quality exceeds the OEM equipment, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

This is an AC regulator rectifier, which controls the output of the charging coils and holds the electrical system at a safe voltage. On a stand-up ski the unit lives in a hot and damp engine bay and is a common failure point. When it fails the usual symptoms are a battery that will not hold charge between outings, a battery that boils or gasses, or a charging voltage that either never rises above resting battery voltage or climbs well past 15 volts. This unit delivers a minimum charging voltage of 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V and a maximum charging current of 25 A / 300 W, with open circuit voltage held below 15 V.
