Capped Magneto Flywheel Rotor for Suzuki GSXR
Suzuki GSXR 600 and GSXR 750 2006-2024 - Part RMS120-108152
This is a heavy-duty replacement magneto flywheel rotor for the Suzuki GSXR 600 and GSXR 750. It is built to deal with the magnet detachment that the original flywheels on these machines are known for, where a magnet works loose inside the case and takes the stator with it.
The magnets are bonded with a high-temperature epoxy that is stronger than the OEM specification, and the assembly is then capped with high-grade steel so that oil cannot degrade the bond and any magnet that does move stays contained inside the sleeve. Each rotor is precision balanced to cut vibration and is tested before it is shipped. As RMSTATOR put it, do not repair, replace like a pro - an epoxy repair on a failed original is a temporary fix, this is a permanent one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this rotor fit without modification?
It is a direct replacement for the original flywheel rotor and uses the original taper and fixings. One setting-up step is required: the air gap must be adjusted at installation by aligning the raised node with the pickup coil and keeping a clearance of at least 0.010 inch.
What is included?
The flywheel rotor itself, ready to install. No additional components are listed in the packaging details for this part.
How do I know my original flywheel has failed?
The classic sign on these engines is a magnet coming away from the inside of the flywheel. That usually shows up as a heavy rattle or grinding from the magneto cover, metal debris on the stator, a charging fault that appears suddenly, or visible scoring on the stator windings when the cover comes off. Once a magnet has broken loose the flywheel should be replaced rather than glued back together.
What makes this different from repairing the original?
A repair relies on epoxy alone holding a magnet against heat and engine oil. This rotor uses an epoxy stronger than the OEM specification and then adds a steel cap over the magnets, so the bond is shielded from oil and any magnet that does move is trapped inside the sleeve instead of reaching the stator.
