This is a brand new aftermarket set of spark plug caps, supplied as a complete set of four and built as a direct replacement for the original units fitted to Can-Am Outlander and Renegade ATVs and to Ski-Doo Expedition, Legend and Skandic snowmobiles. The set is manufactured to a standard that exceeds the OEM equipment, and every set shipped is tested before it leaves the warehouse.
Spark plug caps are a wear item. The rubber boot hardens and cracks with heat cycling, moisture tracks down inside the cap, and the internal resistor drifts out of tolerance - all of which show up as misfiring, hard starting, a rough idle or a machine that cuts out under load. Because the caps in this set carry the same 0.9 ohm primary resistance and the same 6.6 mm lead diameter as the originals, they fit the existing HT leads without modification and restore a clean spark.
