Delco 28MT Series OSGR Starter - 12V, 3kW, CW, 10-Tooth
This starter motor is a direct replacement in the Delco 28MT series, fitted across John Deere agricultural and industrial tractors, crawlers, lift trucks, skid steers and 4039/4045 marine engines. It is built to OEM specifications for fit and function and bolts straight into the existing mounting points.
It is a 12-volt unit with clockwise (CW) rotation, a 10-tooth drive gear and a 3kW (4.02HP) output. The OSGR (Offset Gear Reduction) design uses a 4-terminal switch and a dry clutch drive with a wet clutch seal, with a 31.8mm OD drive gear (drive part 509410) and two 12mm unthreaded mounting holes, so the existing wiring and flywheel housing can be reused without modification.
