Heavy Duty Starter Motor 24V 11-Tooth
Case IH | Caterpillar | Cummins | Delco replacement for heavy plant and agricultural diesels
A 24-volt, 11-tooth heavy duty starter motor for the large diesel engines used in Case IH agricultural machinery, Caterpillar plant and Cummins industrial applications - a direct replacement for the Delco unit fitted as original equipment.
Large-displacement 24V diesels need high breakaway torque, especially on cold mornings and after long shutdowns. This unit is built to the original Delco specification for mounting, rotation and pinion engagement, so it fits the existing bracket and wiring without modification.
Key Features
- 100% new aftermarket unit - not a remanufactured core
- 24-volt system with 11-tooth pinion
- High breakaway torque for large-displacement diesels
- Built for the vibration, dust and heat of plant and agricultural duty
- Cross-references to Case IH, Caterpillar, Cummins and Delco numbers
- Dispatched from the UK with technical fitment support

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a 12V or 24V starter?
It is a 24-volt unit. Fitting a 24V starter to a 12V system, or the reverse, will damage the motor - check your machine's system voltage before ordering.
How do I confirm it fits my machine?
Match the number stamped on your existing starter against the cross-reference table above, and confirm the pinion has 11 teeth. If the tag is unreadable, send us the engine model and machine serial number and we will confirm before you order.
Why does my machine crank slowly in cold weather?
Cold thickens the oil and reduces battery capacity at the same moment the engine needs the most torque. If the batteries test good under load and the cables and earth straps are clean, persistent slow cranking usually means worn starter brushes or a failing solenoid.
Is the solenoid included?
Yes - the starter is supplied complete with the solenoid fitted. Reuse your existing bolts and terminal hardware.
