Starter Motor for John Deere 4120-4720 & 313-332 Skid Steer Loaders
12V, 2.2kW, CW, 9-tooth PMGR - replaces John Deere RE508922 & RE540304
This starter motor is a direct-fit replacement for John Deere skid steer loaders, track loaders, compact utility tractors and 5-series tractors running the 4024T, 5030T and PowerTech engine families. It is built to the same mounting, output and mechanical specification as the original equipment unit, so it bolts straight into place and replaces John Deere part numbers RE508922 and RE540304.
It runs on 12 volts with a 2.2kW output, turning clockwise (CW) with a 9-tooth drive gear on a permanent-magnet gear-reduction (PMGR) motor. The gear-reduction design gives higher cranking torque for its size, which matters on the turbocharged 4024T and 5030T diesels. Bosch, Iskra and Lucas equivalents were also fitted across the production run, and cross reference numbers for those alternatives are listed below to help confirm compatibility.

Is this the Bosch-type unit?
Yes - it cross-references to Bosch 0-001-109-330 and 0-001-109-331. Iskra and Lucas equivalents are also listed above if you need to confirm against your original part number.
