This starter motor is a direct replacement across MerCruiser, Crusader, OMC, Volvo Penta, Pleasurecraft, Thermo Electron and Berkley Jet marine engine applications, built to OEM specifications for fit and function. It is a replacement for the Delco 10MT unit and bolts straight into the existing mounting points without any drilling or bracket changes.
It is a high-torque 12-volt direct drive unit with clockwise (CW) rotation and a 9-tooth drive gear of 25.1mm (0.988in) outside diameter, fitted with a short solenoid and 0.375in unthreaded mounting ear holes, so your existing wiring loom reconnects directly to the new unit.
