This starter motor is a direct-fit replacement for Volvo Penta 4 and 6-cylinder marine engines and for the Volvo road engines that share the same Bosch starter, built to the same mounting, output and mechanical specification as the original equipment unit so it bolts straight into place. Coverage spans the Volvo Penta 2001, 2002, 2002T, 2003T and 251A stern drive units and the long-running AQ100 to AQ130 petrol range, as well as Volvo 120, 140, 160, 240, 740, 760, 780, 940 and 1800 series cars.
