This is a brand new starter relay solenoid switch, built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Polaris 600, 800 and 850 Indy, RMK, Rush and Switchback snowmobiles and to the 570, 900 and 1000 Ranger and RZR side-by-sides from 2015 to 2025. It is manufactured to a standard that exceeds the OEM equipment, and every unit shipped is tested before it leaves the warehouse.
The starter solenoid is the heavy-duty switch that carries full battery current to the starter motor when the start button is pressed. Because it handles very high current in short bursts, its internal contacts erode over time. The classic failure is a single loud click with no crank, or a starter that turns over slowly and inconsistently, and it is often mistaken for a flat battery or a tired starter motor. This unit measures 74 mm wide, 51 mm long and 58 mm high, with 52 mm between the fixation holes, four terminals and one plug, so it bolts into the original mounting and takes the existing cables and control plug without alteration. Part number RMS090-106819, replacing Polaris 4014655 and 4017681.
