Brand new starter relay solenoid switch for a wide span of Suzuki motorcycles, from the small DR trail bikes up to the large GV touring machines. The solenoid is the heavy duty switch that carries the full cranking current from the battery to the starter motor. The handlebar start button only energises a small coil inside the unit, which closes a pair of substantial contacts to complete the high current circuit.
Those contacts are the wear item. As they burn and pit the resistance across them rises, which is why an ageing solenoid clicks without cranking, or cranks only every second or third attempt. This RMSTATOR replacement is built to a quality that exceeds the OEM equipment and all products shipped are tested. How can I tell my old solenoid has failed?
