12-volt, 4-terminal solenoid for Delco PG-series starters
This 12-volt, 4-terminal starter solenoid is built to OEM specification as a direct replacement for the unit fitted to Delco PG200 and PG250 series starters. Mounted on top of the starter motor, it acts as the high-current switch that engages the drive gear with the flywheel and then closes the main contacts that feed the starter motor directly from the battery.
It uses the standard 8mm B+ stud and 4-terminal layout, so it fits and functions exactly like the original without any modification to the wiring. Replacing a worn solenoid like this is usually far more cost-effective than replacing the entire starter motor when the motor itself is still sound.
