Stator 660 W for Polaris Ranger and Crew 1000 XP
Polaris Ranger / Crew 1000 XP / EPS 2018-2025 and GEM E2 / E4 / E6 2018 - replaces 4018448, 4017516, 4080986
This is a brand new aftermarket 660 W stator for the Polaris Ranger and Ranger Crew 1000 XP and EPS, supplied under part number RMS010-107104. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and fits plug-and-play, so it connects to the existing harness without cutting, splicing or adapters.
The 18 pole core is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius - an important margin on a machine that is often worked hard at low ground speed where cooling airflow is limited and accessory loads such as winches, light bars and heated cabs draw heavily on the charging system. Connectors and the rubber grommet are supplied with the unit, and every stator is tested before it is shipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct replacement for the original unit on the Polaris Ranger and Ranger Crew 1000 XP and EPS from 2018 to 2025, and on the GEM E2, E4 and E6 for 2018. The single three pin plug matches the factory harness, so no cutting or splicing is required.
What is included?
The stator unit itself, the connectors and the rubber grommet. Every unit is tested before it leaves the warehouse.
How do I know the old stator has failed?
The typical signs are a battery that will not hold charge, warning lights or accessories that fade when the engine is idling, or a machine that dies after a period of running on battery alone. Test at the plug with a multimeter: the yellow wire to wire readings should be about 0.6 ohms within 20 per cent, and resistance from any wire to the stator body should be open circuit. A shorted winding reads continuity to ground and means the stator must be replaced.
Why choose a 660 W stator?
660 W gives real headroom on a working machine. Winches, light bars, heated grips and cab accessories all draw from the charging system, and low speed work gives the engine little chance to recover the battery. The 200 degree Celsius rated copper winding is specified for exactly that kind of sustained high load, hot running duty.
