This is a brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to Arctic Cat F6 Firecat, King Cat, Pantera, Sabercat, ZL 800 and ZR 800 snowmobiles built between 2002 and 2006. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so the factory mounting points, wiring route and connectors are all retained and no modification is required.
This is a multi-circuit stator. As well as the alternator windings that charge the battery, the same plate carries the fuel pump coil, the hand warmer circuit and two ignition source coils, which is why it runs ten wires through three plugs rather than the handful found on a simple charging stator. The core uses the highest grade lamination material and the windings the highest grade copper, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. The connector is included and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Does this stator need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, plug-and-play, with the same ten wires and three plugs as the factory part and identical mounting.
What is included in the box?
The stator with its connector. All products shipped are tested.
How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Check each circuit with a multimeter against the figures in the specification table: yellow to yellow 0.2 ohms, white/blue 17.2 ohms, orange to orange 2 ohms, green to brown 10 ohms and green to black 10 ohms, all plus or minus 20 percent. An open circuit, or continuity between any winding and the stator body, means the unit has failed.
My battery charges but the hand warmers or fuel pump are dead. Could it still be the stator?
Yes. On these Arctic Cat models the hand warmer circuit, the fuel pump coil and the two ignition source coils all sit on the same plate as the charging windings. One of those circuits can fail while the alternator windings still work normally, so it is worth testing each pair individually before condemning another component.
