This is a brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to Arctic Cat Crossfire, F1000, Firecat, M8000, M6 600, Mountain Cat, M8 800, Sno Pro, T500 and XF800 snowmobiles from 2007 to 2022. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so the factory mounting points, the wiring route and the connectors are all retained and no modification is needed.
This is a multi-function stator: as well as the alternator windings that charge the battery, it carries the fuel pump coil, two source coils and a further two-ohm circuit, all on one plate and eleven wires. The core uses the highest grade lamination material and the windings the highest grade copper, rated to 200 degrees Celsius. The opposite connector, the one on the main harness side, is supplied as well, because on these machines that connector is very often melted, corroded or otherwise defective by the time the stator itself gives up. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this stator need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, plug-and-play, with the standard 500 mm run of wire from the stator to the plug and the same three plugs and ten terminals as the factory part.
What is included in the box?
The stator with its connector, plus the opposite connector from the main harness side. That second connector is supplied because it is frequently found melted, corroded or defective on these machines, and replacing it at the same time avoids a repeat failure.
How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Test each circuit with a multimeter. Yellow to yellow should read 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20 percent, blue/white to blue/white 16 ohms, green/red to brown/white 8 ohms, green/red to black/red 8 ohms and orange to orange 2 ohms, all plus or minus 20 percent. An open circuit, a short to the stator body, or a reading well outside those figures means the winding has failed.
Why does one stator carry so many circuits?
On these Arctic Cat models the same plate carries the alternator windings that charge the battery, the coil that powers the fuel pump, and the source coils that feed the ignition. That is why there are eleven wires rather than the three or five found on a simple charging stator, and it is also why a single failed winding can produce symptoms that look unrelated to charging.
