This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator for the Arctic Cat 500 TBX and 500 TRV of 2003 to 2009 and the Suzuki LT 500 Vinson of 2002 to 2007. It is a direct replacement for your original unit, mounting in the same position with the same wire routing and the same plugs, so fitting is plug-and-play with no modification, no rewiring and no drilling.
The assembly is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. It integrates the pick-up pulsar coil and the crank position sensor circuit alongside the charging winding, and the connector and rubber grommet are supplied with it. We also include the opposite connector, the main harness side half of the plug, since that half is frequently melted or corroded on a machine that has suffered a charging fault. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

What is included in the box?

How can I tell that my old stator has failed?
The usual signs are a flat or steadily discharging battery, dim or flickering lights, hard starting, or a machine that cuts out and will not restart. With the engine off and the unit unplugged, the white alternator wires should read about 0.4 ohms between them, the pick-up about 200 ohms from blue to green, and the position sensor about 0.1 ohms from red to white/blue. Readings well outside those figures, or continuity from a winding to the stator body, indicate a failed unit.
Why does one part cover both an Arctic Cat and a Suzuki?
The Arctic Cat 500 of this period uses a Suzuki-derived engine, so the same stator serves the Arctic Cat 500 TBX and 500 TRV and the Suzuki LT 500 Vinson.
