Replacement Stator for Arctic Cat Snowmobiles
Arctic Cat Pantera, Thundercat, Mountain Cat and ZRT 800, 900 and 1000 - 1993-1999 - Part RM01026
This is a brand new aftermarket stator for Arctic Cat snowmobiles built between 1993 and 1999, covering the Pantera, Thundercat, Mountain Cat and ZRT in 800, 900 and 1000 engine sizes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and installs plug-and-play, a direct fit with easy installation and no modification to the loom.
The stator is built on the highest grade lamination materials with copper windings resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, so it tolerates the sustained heat of a hard-worked engine. The connector is included, and an additional connector with pins is supplied as a backup, which is worth having because the harness-side connector is often heat damaged on a machine that has lost its charge. All products are tested before shipping. The assembly carries eight wires across three plugs and nine pins, and provides the alternator charging output together with two separate source coil circuits.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, plug-and-play and a direct fit. The connector is included and no cutting or splicing is required.
What is included in the box?
The stator with its connector fitted, plus an additional connector and pins supplied as a backup.
How can I tell my old stator has failed?
Use a multimeter against the figures in the Technical Specs table. The yellow alternator legs should read about 0.1 ohms, the green to black source coil about 25 ohms, and the green to white source coil about 447 ohms, each within plus or minus 20 percent. An open circuit, a short to the engine case, or a reading far outside tolerance identifies the failed circuit. A dead battery after a run, or a no-spark condition, are the common symptoms.
Which OEM number should I check against?
This unit cross-references to Arctic Cat 3004-452, 3005-012, 3004-836, 3004-128, 3004-385 and 3005-251. Find the number on your original stator or in your parts manual and match it to that list before ordering.
