This is a brand new aftermarket stator for Arctic Cat snowmobiles, supplied under part number RM01001S. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and fits plug-and-play, so it connects to the existing harness without cutting, splicing or adapters.
This is a multi-circuit stator: eleven wires terminate in four separate plugs, carrying the alternator winding, two independent source coils, an accessories circuit and a further winding, so one component feeds charging, ignition and accessory supply. It is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. The connector is included and every stator is tested before it is shipped.

How do I know the old stator has failed?
Symptoms range from a flat battery and dim lights to no spark at all, depending on which winding has gone down. Test each circuit at the plug: yellow to yellow should read about 0.4 ohms, black to green about 42 ohms, brown to green about 450 ohms, blue/white to blue/white about 20 ohms and red/yellow to red/yellow about 0.2 ohms, all within 20 per cent. Any circuit reading open, shorted, or showing continuity to the stator body means the stator has failed.
Why does this stator carry so many circuits?
These Arctic Cat machines run charging, ignition source coils and an accessories supply from the same stator, which is why there are eleven wires split across four plugs. It also means a fault in one circuit can leave the others working normally, so all five resistance readings are worth checking before condemning the part.
