This is a brand new replacement stator for the Suzuki King Quad AXi, covering the LT-A 450 X built from 2007 to 2010 and the LT-A 500 X built from 2009 to 2018. The King Quad AXi is a fuel-injected machine, which makes the charging system more critical than it is on an older carburetted quad: the injection pump, the injectors, the ECU and the electric power steering on so-equipped models all draw current continuously, so a stator that has lost one of its phases will flatten a battery far faster than the rider expects.
The unit is a direct replacement for the original Suzuki part and installs plug-and-play behind the flywheel with no cutting, splicing or drilling. It is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper, insulated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, which is what gives it the margin the original lacked in the hot, enclosed space beside the engine. The pick-up pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet are all included and pre-fitted, so the assembly drops in as a single piece, and every unit is tested for resistance and output before it is shipped.

Will this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct fit for the LT-A 450 X from 2007 to 2010 and the LT-A 500 X from 2009 to 2018. The 53 mm bore, the 115 mm outer diameter and the two factory connectors all match the original, so no cutting or splicing is needed.
What is included in the box?

How do I know my old stator has failed?
Use a multimeter on the ohms range. Yellow to yellow should read about 0.4 ohms across each pair, plus or minus 20 per cent, and any pair that reads open circuit or wildly different from the other two indicates a burnt phase. Blue to white should read about 220 ohms, plus or minus 20 per cent, for the pick-up. There should be no continuity at all between any winding wire and the stator body - if there is, the insulation has broken down and the unit is earthing out.
Which of the two OEM numbers does my machine use?
Suzuki used 32101-11H00 and later 32101-11H01 across this range and the two supersede one another, so this single stator covers both. Read the number stamped on your existing unit and match it to either one.
