High Output 300 W Stator for Arctic Cat DVX 400, Kawasaki KFX 400 and Suzuki LTZ 400
Arctic Cat DVX 400, Kawasaki KFX 400 and Suzuki LTZ 400 Quadsport - 2003 to 2008
This is a brand new 300 watt high output stator for the Arctic Cat DVX 400, the Kawasaki KFX 400 and the Suzuki LTZ 400 Quadsport of 2003 to 2008. It is a direct replacement for your original unit, so it mounts in the same position, follows the same wire routing and meets the same harness plugs. Installation is plug-and-play with no modification, no rewiring and no drilling.
The 300 watt winding gives 20 percent more output over stock while working with all other OEM components, so the regulator rectifier, the CDI and the harness all stay as they are. That extra headroom is what keeps a battery charged on a machine running auxiliary lighting or other added electrical load. The assembly is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. The pick-up pulsar coil, the main output connector and the rubber grommet are supplied with it, along with the opposite connector for the main harness side, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to change anything else to run the 300 W stator?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and works with all other OEM components, so the regulator rectifier, the CDI and the harness stay exactly as they are. It mounts in the same position with the same seven wire, two plug layout and nothing needs to be cut, drilled or re-wired.
What is included in the box?
The stator, the pick-up pulsar coil, the main output connector, the opposite connector for the main harness side, and the rubber grommet.
How can I tell that my old stator has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that will not hold charge, dim or flickering lights, a machine that runs only until the battery is drained, or a loss of spark. With the engine off and the unit unplugged, the brown alternator wires should read about 0.4 ohms between them, the pick-up about 500 ohms from blue to green, and the source coil about 0.3 ohms from black to white. Readings well outside those figures, or continuity from a winding to the stator body, indicate a failed stator.
Why do the Arctic Cat, Kawasaki and Suzuki quads share one stator?
The DVX 400, KFX 400 and LTZ 400 Quadsport of this period share the same 400 cc engine platform, so they take the same stator with the same 35 mm interior diameter, 94 mm exterior diameter and 26 mm thickness. That is why a single part carries an Arctic Cat style number alongside Kawasaki and Suzuki style numbers in the cross reference list.
