Stator for Arctic Cat 400 to 650 and Suzuki Eiger 400
Arctic Cat 400, 450 and 650 TBX and TRV, and Suzuki LTF and LTA 400 Eiger
This is a brand new stator for the Arctic Cat 400, 450 and 650 including the TBX and TRV variants, and for the Suzuki LTF and LTA 400 Eiger. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and fits plug and play, so no rewiring or modification is needed. The stator charges the battery and drives the ignition, and on these utility quads a failed stator usually shows up first as a battery that will not hold charge.
The windings use the highest grade of copper, rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade of lamination material. The unit is 119 mm across the outside, 53 mm inside and 15 mm thick, with seven wires, four plugs and seven pins. The pick-up pulsar coil and the rubber grommet are included, and so is the opposite connector for the main harness side, which cures the melted and corroded plugs these machines suffer from. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug and play direct replacement for the original stator on the listed Arctic Cat and Suzuki models, using the original mounting and connectors. Check the number on your existing unit against the cross reference table before ordering.
What is included?
You receive the stator with the pick-up pulsar coil and the rubber grommet fitted, plus the opposite connector for the main harness side. The flywheel and the cover gasket are not included.
How do I know my stator has failed?
Measure across the white alternator wires - each pair should read 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent, and from any white wire to earth the meter should show O.L. with no continuity at all. The pick-up coil should read 200 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent from blue to green, and the position sensor 0.2 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent from white to yellow. Continuity to earth on an alternator wire means the winding has shorted and the stator must be replaced.
Why is the opposite connector supplied?
The plug between the stator and the main harness on these machines runs hot and is a known point for melting and corrosion. Supplying the matching half lets you renew both sides of the joint rather than plugging a new stator into a burnt connector, which is what killed the original in many cases.
