A brand new generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Arctic Cat and Textron Wildcat 1000 side-by-side range, covering the Wildcat 4, the Wildcat X and the Wildcat 4X. It is a five-wire assembly carrying both the three-phase charging windings and the pickup coil, so a single part restores both the charging circuit and the ignition trigger.
Fitting is plug-and-play: the 126 mm outer diameter, the 54 mm bore and the 20 mm stack thickness follow the factory pattern, and the two plugs mate with the standard loom, so the old unit comes out and this one goes in with no cutting or splicing. The windings are the highest grade copper insulated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, laid on the highest grade lamination stack - an important margin on a machine whose engine bay traps heat. The pickup coil and the connector are supplied fitted, and every unit is electrically tested before it is despatched.

Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct fit for the Wildcat 1000 models listed above. The 126 mm outer diameter, the 54 mm bore and the two-plug connector arrangement follow the factory part, so no cutting or splicing of the loom is required. Check the number on your original unit against the cross reference table before ordering.
What is included?
The stator with the pickup coil already fitted, plus the connector. The flywheel, the stator cover and its gasket are not included and should be reused from your machine.
How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Set a multimeter to ohms and measure across each pair of Yellow wires - all three readings should be close to 0.4 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent. Then measure the pickup between the Blue and White wires, which should read about 200 ohms on the same tolerance. Finally check every wire against the stator body: any continuity to earth means a winding has shorted. A battery that will not hold charge, charging voltage that stays at battery level with the engine running, or a no-spark condition all point at the stator.
Does it matter whether my machine is badged Arctic Cat or Textron?
No. The Wildcat carried the Arctic Cat badge earlier in the run and the Textron badge later, but the stator is the same component across both, which is why the two cross reference numbers cover the whole 2012 to 2019 span.
