A brand new aftermarket generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the BMW S1000R, S1000RR and HP4 1000. The stator is the fixed three-phase winding inside the alternator cover that produces the AC current the regulator/rectifier converts into the DC supply for the battery, engine management, lighting and instruments. Once a phase shorts or burns out, charging voltage collapses and the machine will run on the battery alone until it stops.
This replacement is built on the highest grade of lamination materials with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit using the original mounting points and the original loom plug, so no cutting, splicing or modification is required. Connector and rubber grommet are included. All products shipped are tested.

How do I know my old stator has failed?
With the plug disconnected, measure resistance between each pair of grey wires. A healthy stator reads about 0.4 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent, and no wire should show continuity to earth. Readings well outside that, a flat battery in use, or a charging voltage that will not rise at the battery terminals all point to a failed stator.
