A brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging winding on the Ducati Superbike and Streetfighter range. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts on the original fixings and connects to the original harness with no modification.
The 18-pole assembly measures 115 mm across the outside with a 54 mm interior diameter and 19 mm thickness. Three wires run 140 mm from the stator to the grommet and a further 190 mm to a single three-pin plug. The windings use the highest grade of copper, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, laid on the highest grade of lamination materials. Connectors and a rubber grommet are included, together with the opposite connector for the main harness side, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

What is included?

How can I tell my old stator has failed?
Look for a battery that will not stay charged and charging voltage that stays at battery level with the engine running. On the bench, the resistance between each pair of yellow wires should read about 0.4 ohms within 20 per cent, and no yellow wire should show continuity to the stator core. Melted or discoloured connector pins are another common failure point on these models.
Why is a second connector supplied?
The matching connector for the main harness side is included so a plug that has overheated or corroded can be renewed at the same time as the stator, rather than leaving a new winding feeding through a damaged plug.
