This is a brand new 7-coil stator with 5 wires, designed for two stroke engines and supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit (RMSTATOR part RM01053). It carries a 3-pin plug plus two loose wires, exactly as the factory item does, so installation is plug-and-play with no cutting or splicing of the machine's harness.
The stator uses the highest grade lamination materials and highest grade copper windings that are resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. It ships complete with the pickup pulsar coil, connector, rubber grommet and the back plate, so the assembly can go straight onto the engine. Every unit is tested before it leaves the factory.

Yes. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit replacement with the same 3-pin plug and two loose wires as the original, so no cutting or splicing is required.
What is included in the box?

How do I know my old stator has failed?
Measure the windings with a multimeter and compare with the figures above: alternator (Red to White) about 0.4 ohms, pickup (Pink to Black) about 500 ohms and source (Black/Red to Black) about 300 ohms, each within plus or minus 20 percent. Readings that are open circuit, near zero, or shorted to the stator body mean the unit has failed. A flat battery, dim lights or no spark are the usual warning signs.
What air gap should I set on installation?
RMSTATOR specify an air gap of no less than 0.010 in. The bolt holes are spaced 103 mm apart to match the original back plate mounting.
