Generator Stator for Honda CBR 1000 RR, S & RR SP
Honda CBR 1000 RR, CBR 1000 S and CBR 1000 RR SP - 2010-2016
This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Honda CBR 1000 RR, CBR 1000 S and CBR 1000 RR SP between 2010 and 2016. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part, so it mounts in the original position, uses the original wire routing and connects to the standard plugs without any cutting, splicing or modification to the loom.
The assembly is supplied complete with the pick up pulsar coil, so the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging winding rather than being carried over from a unit of unknown age. It is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, which is what allows it to survive the sustained heat inside the engine case that destroys the original part. Connectors and a rubber grommet are included, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit replacement for the original unit. The 42 mm interior diameter, 115 mm exterior diameter and 12 mm thickness match the original, and both plugs connect straight to the bike's harness, so no cutting or splicing is needed.
What is included in the box?
The generator stator assembly with its 5-wire lead and two plugs, the pick up pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet.
How do I know the old stator has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that will not hold its charge, dim or flickering lights and hard starting after the bike has been running. Measure the resistance between each pair of yellow alternator wires: it should read approximately 0.3 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent. Any reading well outside that, or continuity between a yellow wire and the stator body, means the winding has gone.
How do I test the pick up pulsar coil?
Measure across the pick up wires, yellow to white/yellow. The correct reading is approximately 475 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent. An open circuit or a reading far from that figure points to a failed pick up coil, which usually shows itself as a no-spark or intermittent-misfire condition rather than a charging fault.
