A brand new aftermarket stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Honda CBR 900 RR and CBR 919 RR FireBlade. The stator is the fixed three-phase winding in the alternator that produces the AC current the regulator/rectifier converts into the DC supply for the battery, ignition, lighting and instruments. On a hard-worked sports engine a stator that has cooked or shorted will not hold charging voltage, and the machine will run down the battery until it cuts out.
This replacement uses the highest grade of lamination materials and the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit using the original mounting points and the original loom plug, so no cutting, splicing or modification is required. Connector and rubber grommet are included, and the opposite connector for the main harness side is supplied as well, since these are often melted, corroded or defective and a major cause of repetitive electrical issues. All products shipped are tested.

Does this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and installs plug-and-play on the standard mountings using the original 3-pin loom plug. No cutting, splicing or modification of the harness is required.
What is included?
The stator with its connector and rubber grommet, plus the opposite connector for the main harness side so both halves of the joint can be renewed together. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
With the plug disconnected, measure between each pair of white wires. A serviceable stator reads about 0.4 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent, and no white wire should show continuity to earth. Charging voltage that will not rise with revs, a battery that goes flat in use and discoloured or smelling windings all point to a failed stator.
How long are the leads?
Three wires run 100 mm from the stator body to the grommet, then a further 650 mm from the grommet to a single 3-pin plug, matching the original routing on the CBR.
