Brand new aftermarket generator stator for the Honda CRF 1000 Africa Twin with the manual gearbox, covering the CRF1000A and CRF1000A2 from 2016 to 2019. It is a direct replacement to your original unit, plug-and-play and direct fit with easy installation, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.
The stator is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. It measures 126 mm on the exterior diameter and 54 mm on the interior diameter, is 20 mm thick and carries 18 poles across 12 wires into 3 plugs with 12 pins in total. Alternator resistance reads 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent yellow to yellow, and the pickup coil reads 230 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent yellow to white/yellow. The pickup pulsar coil, connectors and rubber grommet are supplied with it.

How do I tell the old stator has failed?
Measure the alternator windings yellow to yellow - they should read 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent - and the pickup coil yellow to white/yellow, which should read 230 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent. An open circuit, a short, a reading far outside those figures, or continuity from a winding to earth, means the stator has failed.
Is this the right stator for a DCT Africa Twin?
No. This part is the manual gearbox version, cross referenced to 31120-MJP-G51 and fitted to the CRF1000A and CRF1000A2. The automatic DCT model uses a different stator, so check the number on your original unit before ordering.
