This is a brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Honda CRF 450 R and CRF 450 RX of 2017 and 2018. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it sits on the original mounting points inside the ignition cover and plugs into the standard loom with no modification. Every unit is tested before it leaves the workshop.
The stator uses the highest grade of lamination materials and the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, and it gives 20% more output over stock while working with all other OEM components. Does it fit without modification?

How do I know the old stator has failed?
A failing stator usually shows up as a battery that will not hold charge, dim or flickering lights, or a bike that will not run properly once the battery is low. Use the resistance figures above to check: about 1.3 ohms yellow to yellow, open circuit (O.L) from yellow to ground, and about 244 ohms across the pickup wires. Values well outside these suggest a shorted or open winding.
Can I keep my standard regulator rectifier?
Yes. Although this stator gives 20% more output over stock, it is designed to work with all other OEM components, so the original regulator rectifier and battery can be retained.
