This is a brand new stator for the Honda TRX 450 R, TRX 450 ER and TRX 450 Sportrax built between 2006 and 2014, supplied as RMSTATOR part RM01316. It is a direct replacement for your original unit, fits the factory mounting points and plugs into the existing harness, so no cutting or splicing is required.
This is a twelve-wire assembly across three plugs, carrying the alternator winding, the pick-up pulsar coil and two source circuits - so it replaces the whole ignition and charging side of the engine cover in one part. The windings are the highest grade copper on the highest grade lamination materials, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, and the 920 mm lead from the grommet to the plug reproduces the factory routing. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

How can I tell my old stator has failed?
Test each circuit cold with a multimeter. Expect 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20% yellow to yellow, 250 ohms plus or minus 20% green to blue on the pick-up, 36 ohms plus or minus 20% black/red to blue on source 1 and 9 ohms plus or minus 20% blue to white on source 2. Readings well outside those values, or continuity from any winding to the stator body, mean the unit has failed.
Why does it have twelve wires?
The TRX 450 stator carries the charging winding, the pick-up pulsar coil and two source coils, which between them run to three separate plugs and twelve pins. All of them are supplied on this one assembly.
