This is a brand new stator for the Honda TRX 300 EX Fourtrax, the TRX 300 EX Sportrax and the TRX 300 X, covering model years 1993 to 2009. It is a direct replacement for your original unit - plug-and-play, direct fit and easy to install, with no modification needed to the wiring loom or the engine cases. The core is built from the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper, rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius, which is the point at which lower quality rewinds tend to break down and fail again.
This is a six-wire assembly running through three separate plugs and seven pins, with 95 mm of lead from the stator to the grommet and leads of 75 mm, 275 mm and 540 mm from the grommet to the plugs, matching the original harness routing on these machines. The connector and the rubber grommet are included, so the unit goes straight in. All product shipped is tested before it leaves us.

Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit replacement for the original Honda unit, so no cutting, splicing or drilling is required. The lead lengths and the three plugs match the factory harness. What is included?
The stator with its connector and rubber grommet already fitted. No pick-up pulsar coil is supplied with this particular unit, so your existing pulse generator stays in place.
How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Look for a battery that will not stay charged, headlights that dim or brighten as the revs rise and fall, or a machine that runs only until the battery goes flat. Check with a multimeter: between each of the Yellow alternator wires you should read about 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent. An open circuit, a short between windings, or continuity from a Yellow wire to the stator body all indicate a failed unit.
Why does it have three separate plugs?
The six wires split across three plugs at different points in the loom, which is how Honda routed the charging and ignition circuits on the TRX 300. The 75 mm, 275 mm and 540 mm lead lengths put each plug where the original sat, so the harness clips back into the standard positions.
