Stator with Pickup Pulsar Coil - RMS010-106262
Honda TRX 500 Fourtrax Foreman / Rubicon 2014-2019 - Honda TRX 520 FE FM 2020-2021
This is a brand new aftermarket stator for the Honda TRX 500 Fourtrax Foreman and Rubicon and the TRX 520 FE and FM, supplied as a direct replacement to your original unit. The stator is the fixed set of windings inside the left-hand engine cover; as the flywheel magnets sweep past it, those windings generate the alternating current that the regulator rectifier turns into the DC that charges the battery and runs the lights, fuel injection and accessories. This unit is a three-phase alternator with 18 poles and it also carries the integrated pickup pulsar coil, the small trigger winding that tells the ignition exactly where the crankshaft is so the spark is timed correctly.
It is built from the highest grade lamination materials with copper winding rated to 200 degrees C, and it is supplied complete with the pickup pulsar coil, connectors and rubber grommet already fitted, so it is plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install. The lead lengths reproduce the original exactly - 110 mm from the stator to the grommet, 940 mm from the grommet to the plug, and 60 mm on the pickup coil lead to the grommet - with five wires terminating in two plugs and five pins, so it routes through the case and reaches the factory connectors with no cutting, splicing or adapters. All products shipped are tested before dispatch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need any modification to fit?
No. It is plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install. The 40 mm interior and 105 mm exterior diameters and 35 mm thickness match the original, the grommet and connectors are already fitted, and the lead lengths reproduce the factory routing, so no cutting, splicing or adapters are needed.
What is included?
The stator complete with the integrated pickup pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet. Reuse the original cover gasket area hardware and the stator retaining screws from your old unit, and fit a new cover gasket if the old one is damaged.
How do I know the old stator has failed?
A battery that will not stay charged, dimming lights as the revs rise, or a machine that runs only until the battery is flat are the classic signs. Test with a multimeter: across any two yellow wires the alternator should read about 0.5 ohms, and the source coil from blue/yellow to green about 240 ohms, both within 20 per cent. Any yellow wire showing continuity to the stator body means the winding has shorted to earth and the stator must be replaced.
Do I need a separate pickup pulsar coil?
No. The pickup pulsar coil is integrated into this assembly and supplied with it, so a failed trigger winding is replaced at the same time as the charging windings.
