Honda VF700F / VF750F Interceptor, 1983-1985 - Part RMS010-103423
A brand new aftermarket generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Honda VF700F and VF750F Interceptor. The stator produces the three-phase AC current that the regulator/rectifier converts into the DC supply which charges the battery and runs the ignition, lighting and instruments. On these V4 Hondas a stator with shorted or burnt windings is a well known cause of a battery that will not stay charged and of low charging voltage at higher revs.
This replacement is wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, on highest grade lamination materials. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit using the original mountings and the original loom plug, so no cutting, splicing or modification is needed. Connector and rubber grommet are included, and the opposite connector for the main harness side is supplied as well, because these are often melted, corroded or defective and a major cause of repetitive electrical issues. All products shipped are tested.

What is included?
The stator with its connector and rubber grommet, plus the opposite connector for the main harness side so both halves of a commonly damaged joint can be renewed together.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
Disconnect the plug and measure between each pair of yellow wires. A serviceable stator reads about 0.4 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent, and none of the yellow wires should show continuity to earth. A battery that goes flat in use, dim lights and charging voltage that does not rise with revs are the usual symptoms.
