A brand new high output stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Honda XL, XR and R 350 and 600 models. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it uses the original mounting holes and the original connector arrangement with no modification to the loom.
The plate measures 115 mm across the outside with a 54 mm interior diameter and a thickness of 15 mm, and carries five wires running 130 mm from the stator to the grommet into five plugs with five pins. Alongside the charging windings it carries the source winding that feeds the ignition. The windings use the highest grade of copper, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade of lamination materials. A connector and rubber grommet are included, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

How can I tell my old stator has failed?
Weak or no spark, dim lighting and a battery that will not hold charge are the usual signs. With a multimeter, white to green and yellow to red should each read about 0.4 ohms, and the source winding from green to red/black about 140 ohms, all within 20 per cent. Readings well away from those, or continuity from a winding to the core, mean the stator has failed.
What does high output mean here?
The unit is wound to give more charging output than a standard replacement while keeping the original five-wire, five-pin plug arrangement and the original dimensions, so nothing else on the bike has to change to use it.
